Exclamation 94 cav problem with running

Hi, I have a 1994 cav 2.2l and here is the problem. When i get on the gas alittle bit it kinda putters! like no power what so ever! kinda like a misfire butr also kinda like it is starving of gas or somthing? if anyone has had this problem please let me know i have inspection coming up soon and it will NOT pass like this! and also it is running rough at idel when i come to a stop but smooths out after a sec or 2. and help would be very helpfull!

I have the exact same problem. When I first start the car it runs very rough. I rev it for a couple of seconds in neutral and it starts running smooth again. It has acted up sometimes when I come to a stop and it starts puddering and wants to stall. When I put it in neutral and rev it a couple of times it seems to clear it up again. Wondering if it might be the fuel filter. I will update if I figure it out. Please do the same.

it is auto but i found the problem! dummy me! lol last night i was looking under the hood while it was running and seen number 2 spark plug arcing up against the head so new wires and problem fixed lol thanks for your help guys!

well you might want to change the fuel filter just for the hell of it! they are cheap so if it don't work then you still have a new fuel filter lol
