Sierra 16i CLX info

Hi everybody. I would like to ask you if someone can help me to distinguish the type of engine my car has got.

It's a '90 model bought originally in Germany and it has got catalyt converter.

My main questions are if the engine is full injection or if it has got a carbyrator. Then what kind of modifications can I do and does the engine has the abillity to 'accept' an air intake such as KnN or something similar?

Thanks in advance

Re: Sierra 16i CLX info

I forgot to mention the engine is 1600cc as it seems above.

I have changed the exhaust system behind the catalyst until the end with a 52mm stainless steel pipe, took off the silencer and the back box is a custom with 120mm end.

Also I changed the manifold with a 4-1 custom one. I tried to replace the factory air filter by using a simota intake filter but the result is crap (noise not at all).

More, the oil I use is synthetic 10W40 but somebody told me to use 20W50 oil for this engine.

And what about changing the back drums with brake discs? Is it easy?
