I have an item that is 36" X 26" X 26". Can I fit this in a Camry?

Re: Camry cargo space

Ummm....what year/gen is your camry?

These specs are with the rear seat folded up, not down. Except for the Gen 3 Wagons, which the rear seats are folded down.

Gen 3 Cargo Space

2-door/4-door: 14.9 cubic feet
Wagon: 74.8 cubic feet

Gen 4: 14.1 cu ft

Gen 5: 14.1 cu ft

Gen 6: CE, LE, LEV6 - 15.0 cu ft
SE, SEV6, XLE, XLE V6 - 14.5 cu ft
Hybrid: 10.0 cu ft (The Hybrid battery takes up the space)

You should be able to put it in with the seats down.

Re: Camry cargo space

What makes you think I have a Camry? If I had a Camry I wouldn't be here asking this question. And your answer doesn't help. I have given exact dimensions and I need to know if those exact dimensions will fit.

Re: Camry cargo space

Well, sorry for helping out. And sorry for not realizing which camry you're asking for here.

And my answer is the most I can help you with. 14.5 cubic feet. 36"x26"x26" Do the math. So it seems no, it will not fit.

Re: Camry cargo space

The math comes out to 14.1267 cubic feet, so it may fit, but that doesn't mean that it does fit.

Re: Camry cargo space

Yeah, that's why I said it won't fit because it's not a perfect shape inside the trunk. Hope I helped you a bit.

Re: Camry cargo space

I was hoping you could fold down the rear seats and remove the partition between the trunk and the rear seats.

Re: Camry cargo space

You could do that, but I'm not sure if the width of your item will be able to go in deeper. It really depends what year the camry is. The Gen 5 camry is only 14.1 cu ft big. The area near the back part of the seats is narrower than the outer part.
