Installing ARB Bumper on 2nd Gen Rodeo Today...Please Help!
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to install the ARB Bumper for my 2000 Rodeo but I can't seem to get the stock front bumper off. Can someone please tell me how many Bolts need to come off and the area where they are located? If someone could take pictures of the locations that would be very helpful. I was under the rodeo for over an hour and couldn't get the bumper off. All I took off was the little screws holding the shell. The large bolts won't budge and all and it started to strip the bolt a little so I stop. I don't even know if I was hitting the right ones...PLEASE HELP ASAP. TIA! P.S. If anyone lives near SAN JOSE, CA and would drop by to lend a hand, I would be very grateful. I'm an unemployed college student, so I can't afford to pay you, But I can buy lunch/dinner and I have beer! Dyno |

Maybe these will help. You dont need to take off the cover to take the bumper off.

You don't have to answer that if you don't want to, just curious - I've had my truck for 9yrs and I still haven't found the $$ to purchase an ARB bumper, something I've wanted since the day I bought the truck. Just jealous!! Heck, I just shelled out over $40 dollars in gas in 4 days, went up to $2.89/gallon.

It's something called AMERICAN EXPRESS....haha...I charged it and will pay it off slowly, when I start my new job it a couple weeks. Gas where I live is at $3.05 right now.
Finally finished the install. There are some pics. Gizmo thanks for the diagram. ![]() ![]() ![]() That's my friend's taco with the fabtect 6" Lift Kit and 35" MT. |
