Re: Aussie Touring Car B&H Ford Sierra RS500 cossie
Well, my 1:32nd scale Sierra slot car arrived in the mail today, here are some progress pics...
First of all, I had to test it on my new track, very nice. not a bad car for it's age. After that, I took the car apart, removed the driver/co-driver, never heard of a rally rs500 sierra lol. Cleaned all the non-electrical parts in a small container of luke warm soapy water, rinsed off under tap, then took some pics... this is fun ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (the last pic is thanks to Mal, I had fun adding some color to it, this will really help) I need to sand the tampo texaco logos off of the car, if you guys can recommend a good grit sandpaper for this, or an easier way to remove the tampo printing, please let me know. after the tampo is gone, paint it in white tamiya primer, mask it up, paint the door/window trim and other trim bits black, paint interior/cockpit white with one driver, no co-driver in this car lol. Then Tamiya's TS-47 Chrome Yellow .more pics to come, thanks for looking cheers Gav. |
