Aston Martin's CEO, Dr. Ulrich Bez, says the company eschewed the trend toward folding metal tops in favor of cloth because it's lighter and takes less space to stow.
      Ian Callum started work on the DB9 while Henrik Fiksker finished it. Aston claims a stiff 27 Hz torsional-rigidity figure for the DB9 coupe's chassis.

the db9 is a stunning looking car and on top gear when they tested the vanquish vs db9 the db9 was just as fast as the vanquish but the vanquish is quicker to 0-60 and to 0-100 but the db9 is only a couple of seconds behind it.
