Buying a new car - wut should i get?

Hey dudes im buying a new car and selling mine - ok well anyways I dont know what I shoudl buy - liek wut year and like which engine. I have about 4 Grand i just want something i can drive around and uprage ***LATER*** wut do u think woudl be my best bet like weightwise/optionwise/and stuff i am looking for a manual car. wut woudl u guys suggest????? Thnx

oh yes and i want a honda or acura and i hate preludes.

all depends what your going for, you said manual so i'm assuming your wanting to eventually use it for speed purchases, as far as year the body style is basically what your picking there, and engine, as long as you go for an upper model you should be good for starting ground...

also, you lookin to spend 4g's flat out, or to put on a down payment cuz if so get an si or somethin that'll start your engine from a good spot...

ok well i looked aroudn more and here is what ive come up with - i want a 2 door civic SI or EX and my friend said he can do a full GSR swap for me for $2000. Do you guys think that $2000 for a gsr swap is a good deal? the engine has 100K miles on it...

if your gonna engine swap go with the ex, save you alot of money

as far as the engine swap price, i wouldn't know, don't know too much about the pricing on that shit
