Talking HKS 280 Cams....

But they're for the EVO. I hope they make some 280's for our motors, that would have to be all kinds of nasty on the top end. Duration 280, Lift 10.2mm. Awesome, those would also sound sweet as hell at idle.

Idle? What idle? . Those would be pretty much for track only cars though right? I wouldnt imagine those to be too streetable.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.

The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.

People have ran the 272/272 set up on the street, I wouldn't think that this would be too much worse than that combination.

And even then maybe just run a 272/280 combo for street. I personally don't mind my car being a little bit of a PIA if it would make more power this way. I would want to see dyno sheets for both before I made a purchase though.

A friend of mine runs 280s in his daily driver evo, idles fine espeically if you raise the rpm a bit in dsmlink. His 650 whp 2g however has hks 272s, lmao.
