I have an 88 nissan 200sx with the ca in it. I blew the frost plug out the back of the motor and I am told that the whole engine needs to be pulled out. Instead of paying to have it done I'm going with the sr20det swap. I know people do it all the time in the 240 but people rarely talk about the 200sx anywhere. Does the think fit or what?

FORGET ABOUT THE JDM MOTOR. Oh my God, swap a VG30 into that thing. They came with them for a little while. My buddy has a 200sx with the stock VG in that thing, and it's FAST. Then TURBO IT!!!!

It's an idea anyways. Have you given much thought to it? I bet it could be stupid fast for cheap.

No, for 2 years the 200sx came stock with a VG30e. He swapped the injectors, maf, and ecu with a Z31 and it's pretty dog gone fast now.

It's a special and rare car. Some, like his, even came with massive brakes, beefier suspension and 5 lugs wheels.

He's selling the whole set-up, as he's the one I've mentioned that's doing the VQ45DE swap.

theres no such thing as a VQ45. i think you mean the VH45 if not the VK45
