Electrical Help!

i have a weird problem, everything was working fine on the 92 olds 88 earlier. i recrimped some speaker wires behind the radio i put in yesterday. by the time i called it a day tonight i tried to roll up the windows and they would not. also the power seat on drivers side would not work anymore also. i put a voltmeter across the positive and the negative going into the switches on both the window and the seat and got 12-13 volts. i finally got the windows to go up by using a jumper box on these same terminals on main switch on drivers door and it worked to raise and lower the windows and i did the same on the seat switch to move the seats. can someone help me on what this could be or how to diagnose. also i checked all the fuses. i dont understand this
