Well back to the original topic my father who is 45 I think, bought a '04 Corvette not a zo6. It was really reasonably priced. He picked it up for something like 30K, barely any miles on it and it has a targa top. Practically brand new.

Jim this should cheer you up though... My Mom decided she like it and now she drives it all the time lol! My Dad is stuck driving his "Work truck!" When the company he works for was done with it, they sold it to him for 1k! Its not a bad truck (95 GMC 3/4 ton pick up) but it is nothing compared to the vette.

This is the fourth Vette my dad has owned: first was as '93 (I think) Convertable, then an '87 Hard top, then a '67 t-top, finally a 2004 targa top. All with different roof types...

He also owned a 67 Camaro when I was growing up.
