Re: Supercharge or Turbocharge my Se ^_^

3800 performance has a turbo that is supposed to dyno about 300hp at the wheels with the optional intercooler.

Go with the turbocharger, much less hastle than the supercharger and a lot easier to install.

Re: Supercharge or Turbocharge my Se ^_^

If your SE has the 3800, the turbo is the way to go. The performance gains will be at higher RPM and won't be as apt to kill your trans. If it's a 3.1, don't bother. You'll spend a ton of money and still get spanked by even a normally aspirated GT.

Not quite... I talked to this place in Prescott AZ called Trinity Motor Sports. It's like a fast and furious shop and bullshit... He said he can do some custom work and do a turbo on it for like 6 g's. He said it bring it up to a min of 90hp at the wheel but he is sure he could get it at 300hp with some shit he can do.

It's worth it to me when a SE blows a gt out of the water, plus that's just not the only mods on her. I'm not trying to be the fastest prix on the street, i just want to beable to say I can run a decent time in an SE.

Regardless of how many people say certain shit can't be done cause no one makes anything for my car, it just adds more reason to my fire to do more to it. LOL I still need to take it down to phoniex and have a shop down there look at it, they said that they need to look through it before they can tell me if it would be worth it, but Trinity is WELL known out here on the streets and on the track.

I have no idea what they are going to do, I just want to have a bad ass SE cause it would be funny. When I FINALLY finish her I will post some dyno test up and shit along with maybe a few photo's of my baby. Ohh and when I do finish her I'm adding one letter to her badge and that is a X at the end for a SE X. ^_^

300HP overall, not additional...

I'm assuming you have a 04 Grand Prix. If so, go here. 6 grand is a little steep.

I got a new quote yesterday down in pheniox.. 3 Grand installed and everything at Reapers Racing. That is with the custom turbo. But at the other shop for 6 grand they were going to do all shorts of shit as with my tranny, engine, heads, and everything. I am going with Trinty Motors cause it will less likely fuck my engine up if they make sure my engine can handle a turbo.

Ohh I finally finished my SE exhaust entirely today, with that Ubend out and a high flow cat my baby seemed to add a Great deal of HP. i think the ubend fucked with my custom intake so I never really felt that till i got that u bend off.

Oh lol my mech told me to tell you all that you need to stop calling it a U-Bend delete, it makes it sound expensive. He told me to tell you it's a "fucking loopedy doo fucker" and his 35 years of experience can back it... LOL but for all real purpose I like the U-Bend delete better, sounds perfessional lol

I think he was going to do all of that tranny work because you'll need to with that engine. 6k sounds a bit high, but is to be expected for turbo/tranny work and maybe milling the heads a bit for higher compression. if you boost it it'll be when, not if, you're tranny will break. just a bit of heads up if this is your daily driver.

you may want to check this out:

no1 will know the difference besides the blower whine
turbo will be a nice sleeper tho. i hope that shop does a nice job for you whatever you decide!

if you do get your custom turbo done definitely post the details and take it to the track, i would like to see what you run!

and yes its a u-bend/loopdity doo fucker hehe

good luck!
