GSR Vs Mustang V6??
ok, this kid from my school wants to race me. He has a V6 pony :hehehe: Anyways, i just want to know some of the specs of the pony (if any of you know them) and i want to know how bad i will beat him and if i will. I feel dumb asking but i dont want to lose to a pony.:o Thanks.

i dont know if he has any mods, but if not, you will have no problem. trust me. when my friend got a 98 v6 mustang (auto) we raced back when my car was bone stock. we were dead even the whole way to 80 and mines not a gsr. so you will kick his @$$ if its stock auto.

Well, my sister has a '96 stock, automatic mustang. I have driven it and it doesnt even come close to feeling as fast as my 96 GS-R(stock). I say go for it and then laugh at him and call him scooter at school.

lol i have the same problem kinda....... This kid's mom has a red 66 rust-stang and he swears he can smoke any car in the highschool parking lot his has a 289V8 and its bone stock...U guys thing i can take him in a 94 GSR

stock ex's eat mustang v6's?........ ok i'm an import guy, but i don't think that stock ex's can eat mustang v6's.....thats pushing it... what r u runnign on, hopes and dreams....hahah

Well, the 1999+ LX weighs in at aprox. 3100lbs and puts out 190hp @ 5250 and 220lb-ft @ 2750. The 94-98 LX weighs in at aprox. 3100lbs and puts out 150hp @ 4000 and 215lb-ft @ 2750. You make that call on your own car :smoker2:

A GS-R will kill that V6 Mustang. Even more if it's an auto!

Ok, good i was just making sure. BTW it's a 5 speed....do you think that will make much of a difference? i dont even know if the kid knows how to drive or not so i'll just laugh at him when he looses. "It's a pony, It's a pony"

There is a little difference between auto vs manuel but in this case its not significant enought. Just make you you dont spin your tires too much when you take off. Practice your lunch, if you havent already

Well im sure he'll spin the tires either way you look at it because he thinks his little V6 pony is "soooo bad"...lol, haha, :hehehe: So i know i should be able to take him tho but just wanted to make sure. Thanks for all the help.

the GSR will beat the v6 stang, if you have any driving skills. the v6 stangs with the new body style has about 200 hp and probaly more torque. i doubt any stock ex civics can beat a stock v6 stang though.
00gsr: what car are you talking about? does the LX mean base? i dont think the v6 mustang is called ''LX"
