Re: 4.3 to 350 swap
Welcome to AF kisle23
![]() You'll need a motor from around the same year truck, and 2.8L motor mounts. About a month of spare time and weekends. A fair amount of extra money for parts and or the ability to make your own. Your transmission will work with the V8 You might find a V8 S10 for less money, although you won't have the satisfaction of doing the job yourself then Good Luck, and take pic's as you go |

Re: 4.3 to 350 swap
He sayes 4.3L in the title, although I believe that the 2.8L was listed as an option until somewhere around 92 in the S10.
I really don't think that too many people got the option after the introduction or the 4.3L, but I might be wrong. |

Re: 4.3 to 350 swap
www.s-series.org has all kinds of information on this subject. Its pretty easy if you do it right and spend a bit more money
and you can use any SBC.

Re: 4.3 to 350 swap
I know that www.s-series.org is a good forum, but in my opinion someone on AF should do a how to on the subject.
Including Pic's. I know that it'll be a big how to, but worth it |
