also going to have to disagree. In fact air doesn't even reach that far into the fmic, more surface area is better for more heat exchange. The longer the fmic is the more time it has to cool, although most don't even need that, for instance my intercooler is cool to the touch about 1/3 of the way through.

So then we are talking about this kinda FMIC for my E3B16G turbo,

24-28x6-8x2.5 inlet out let and 2-2.5 wide? I don't want something to tall, sometines I think that looks a little gay on 1G's to have a 12inch tall front mounts. thanks everyone, let me know

I would say then have a core size of 24x8-10x3-3.5 with 2.5 of 3 inch outlets

nope......the big turbos that flow much more than 550cm need the extra length to cool down
