i am loosing coolant in my 78 grand prix, i recently replaced the radiator,and all hoses, there are no visable leaks.i know about the possible blown head gasket, but i also know that my heater core is bad would that be the cause of significant coolant dissaperance?hellllp?

Heater cores can lose coolant, but usually there is some sign of the leak, like a fogged up windshield, or a sweet smell from the vents inside the car, when the heater is on.

Try bypassing the heater core, that is disconnect one hose and run the outlet of one hose into the inlet of the other, so the coolant does not flow into the core, and see if you still lose coolant.

Also check the engine oil and make sure the coolant is not getting in there. Contaminated oil will look just like a chocolate milkshake.

Finally, sometimes a defective intake manifold or a blown intake manifold gasket will let coolant get into the fuel-air mixture and be burned in the engine. This produces a foggy, sweet-smelling exhaust.
