WIP - Rossi Repsol RC211V Late 2003 Version
Hi guys,
I've resumed building my RC211V kit sitting on my desk for a while now. Here's a couple of test shots for my conversion of Rossi's Repsol RC211V early 2003 to a late 2003. It could have been simpler for me to use Rossi's Valencia bike and order in the decal set for the 2003 Repsol. However, I started this project before the Valencia bike came out, and has been sitting around since then until now. The 2003 repsol decals needed some work as the fairings for the two versions are different. Luckily, the white part of the Repsol logo appeared the same for both, so I just needed to find a match for the red part of the logo. Tamiya's bright red spraypaint seemed to be a close match so I went with that. I started the model back when Studio27 had a tri-megaphone exhaust so that was used. Since it came with Rossi's Honda/news media prisoner decals, i'm going to apply it on this kit when I progress some more. ![]() ![]() Happy modeling, Vincent Wu MGP Owner www.modelcraftersgp.com |

As you say, there are easier way to go about this project. But why make thigs easy when you can push your limits instead. I think you're up to a great start.

Nice work so far Vincent. The paint and decals are looking superb and I look forward to seeing more progress on it.
