Dang sunroof

ok, my sunroof is busted. it will open, but it wont close all the way unless you work it. i looked at it for a while, and it seems like the slider, or whatever you wanna call it, on the drivers side isnt attached to the sunroof. when im driving the sunroof rattles. its a pain. I dont wanna go to honda and have em do it for like 150 if its not really hard. please let me know if you have had this problem and what you did, or if you have any ideas.

I suggest you go buy a Helms Manual for your car. That will tell you how to fix it, or at least troubleshoot it.

you can get a helms at most parts stores, but if you can score a chiltons, it's a lil more but well worth it... i think you can get them on amazon.com..... yah my sunroof slides off the track half way back so when you put it back down i have to push the back up as it's going forward to get it to land back on it... a real bitch to do when i'm trying to manuver that go kart.

I had a similar incident a couple years ago, the little plastic piece was around 5 bucks and a bitch to install. It keeps the sunroof on track when closing, very hard to reach but it can be done.

Thumbs up Helm Incorporated

Go to www.helminc.com and order for your year either online or by phone. Price is around $60 and if you go SCCA racing-you must have it with you. This is the ONLY official book vendor for Honda. Chilton and Haynes also print books on Honda cars-but they either take from the real one or with Haynes create their own version.
Just my experience here.
