91 tracker Check engine light.

So It idles (check engine light) It goes out as soon as I hit the gas. If i push the accelerator at a stop or cruising the light goes out. As Soon as I let off the gas it comes back on.
If I downshift and get the rpms back up without the foot on the gas the light is on.
I have a small exhaust leak in front of the o2 sensor. I'm thinking it is either the o2 sensor reading something fubar'd becuase air is getting in the exhaust at that leak or maybe the TPS is going out. I have a new gasket for the exhaust when it warms up I'll put it on.

Anyone else have this problem?
Nate

Nevermind I fixed it, The oil was dangerously low... I apparently have developed a gushing leak where the oil pump mates to the block.

I lied it didn't turn off the check engine light.

Re: 91 tracker Check engine light.

The check engine light on a 95 Tracker is inside the left front speaker on right inside hole, its a slide switch. It might be in the same location on your 91
