Reseting the change oil light

Ok, can someone please explain to me in dummy terms, where the switch is to reset the change oil light? I just got it changed, and I looked in the owners manual, and I didnt understand where it was saying it was at.

Its a 94 caprice by the way

Re: Reseting the change oil light

On my 95 after I change the oil to reset the light turn the key to the "On" position not starting it and press the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds then turn the ignition off and then start the car and it will reset it.

My '94 SS has a RESET button behind the fuse panel cover. My '96 does not.
