tdc

hello all, simple question (I hope) I am trying to time my 4G63 sohc space waggon engine. Where is number one cylinder? Is it the pot near the distributor or the cylinder near the camshaft sprocket? I am used to working on british motor bikes so not used to #1 cylinder locations. I have mitsubishi manual on a CD but it doesnt say where/which is number one cylinder so I cant get on with fitting the cam belt until I know. All the best Dave.

Re: tdc

#1 cylinder is always the first one on the crankshaft starting from the pulley side
