95 Monte Carlo Thermostat Replacement

Hello everyone,

I wonder if someone could please verify some information for me. I need to replace the thermostat and I have learned that if I follow the radiator hose from the radiator to the engine, that I will find the thermostat there. Is this correct?

Second, is this an easy repair? From what I undertstand, I should be able to just take out the old and drop in the new with no problem. Can anyone verify this or offer any suggestions, tips, or tricks?

Thank you all in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Adam

Re: 95 Monte Carlo Thermostat Replacement

follow the top radiater hose, there will be a round aluminum housing with a spout that the hose attaches to . pull the hose off. take out the two bolts , pull out the old thermostat, and drop in the new one . thats it
