For all those with no spark but will crank:

I just found my problem that I had with no spark. I replaced the crank sensor, ICM, Ecm. It did start a few times after Ileft the ignition on and wiggled the plug at the ICM, pulling it out and cocking it to the side. I also noticed that with the ignition On, I pulled the icm off of the mounting pad and I had a lot of clicking of the fuel lines, A/C compressor and cooling fans, Thats what lead me to a bad grounding situation. Well, I was checing the harness grounds and I noticed that, laying on top of the water pump housing was the harness for the Cam Sensor, and the loom that the wires were incased in was kind of broken apart and i could see the wires inside and they looked lik they were melted together. So I took the alternator off to get to the harness for the cam sensor, and the three wires WERE melted together!! I was able to clean them up and taped them back up and Walah!! I have fire again. I buttoned everything back up and she starts every time, I hope this helps somebody. I have spent about 5 day tring to find some useful info.

By the way, I forgot to mention that this car has 170,000 miles on it.

Thanks for the info, I have been struggling with a very similar situation with my 87 lesabre. This is more of a secondary car that I work on when I can. Ill definitly check into that next chance I get. The car has been sittin for over a year now and Im dying to drive it! I got lucky last november and it started randomly. Hopefull this or something like this will solve the problem!
