My 97 dodge neon
0k i got tired of trying to fix my neon so i bought a used engine for it. it runs good but sometimes it starts to run rough and sometimes dies. and i am not sure the oil pump is working all of the time. how would you check the oil pump.,this is a dual over head cam motor.and i have 1 vac line that i cant seem to find where it goes.

Re: My 97 dodge neon
Your fuel pump module is located on top of the tank...the inlet strainer, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel level sensor are the only servicable items. If your fuel pump needs to be replaced you will have to replace the whole module, which means dropping the tank.
I'd check your ASD and Fuel Pump relays first though. |

Re: My 97 dodge neon
what is the ASD? The fuel pump is on the lower back right hand side, the passenger side.
