Spool it big
I heard that you can put a smaller turbo onto a vehicle and a larger one also, and that the smaller turbo would help the larger spool up quicker...
I don't really buy this one, as the smaller turbo will hinder performance once it tops out... what do you think?

This is sometimes done. The small turbo spools up fast for less lag time and the large turbo then kicks in for a more massive gain hp. I've only heard of these being used in diesel engines though, although I suppose this same set up could be applied in a car.

It has been done on our cars. Whether it was a good idea or worth it...is highly questionable IMO.

the problem with is from what I've heard is that this is what happens; boost, lag, boost...

I kinda get it now... maybe it makes more sense because it came from a Honda guy drving a Civic with an inline four and an 18G
