i wanna take the motor and trans outta a 93 chevy beretta
is there gonne be any probs w/that? most of the ppl I talk to said it should be alright.... same size motor and everything, beretta dont have OD but if im taking the motor and trans out is that gonna matter?

Non o/d trans has different pcm programming, mounts, axles and I am sure other issues in that swap.

IF your Lumi came with the 3 speed auto, you'll be ok (the beretta came with 3 different final drive ratios, so it could mess up your speedo calibration if different from your car). If your car has the 4 speed trans, don't use the trans from the Beretta, as it uses different axles, neutral safety switch, etc... that will make the swap not worth it.
