Sebring jxi 97 Idling
my sebring convertible JXI 97 behaves weird sometimes.
The engine runs at 3000RPM without giving any gas. Even if restart the engine it starts at 3000RPM. When I have to stop, I have to apply lot of pressure on the brakes and still the car pulls forward. When I release the breaks the Car kicks off to 50MPH by itself without giving any gas. This symptom happens only when I drive the car at 55-65mph for about 15-20 mins. What could be the problem. Please reply, i'm really frustrated.

It's either a vacuum leak or a stuck throttle cable.
