short throws
I was looking to go and invest in a short throw for my 200SX. I was wondering, what do you guys think of them? See, I'd like to test one out first, but problem being, I don't know anyone who owns a car with one. So, I guess the best I can really do is just ask for opinions.
Also, is there a difference between a short throw and a short shifter? Or is short shifter just another name for a short throw? Because I might be talking about short shifter. I can tell you I'm talking about when you barely have to move your stick to shift. |

Re: short throws
depends on what you want i guess. If you really want the "short" throws the b&m is recommended. Those obx's on ebay or whatever doesn't really change the throw distance too much (from what i heard).
Nismo shifters just remove the "sloshy" feeling of old shifters. The throw distance is hardly recognizeable but the shifter does click in nicely when you shift. Since i use b&m and enjoy it.... +1 for it.

Re: short throws
short throw shifters are shorter, and shorten the length of the throw...they are designed to make shifting feel more percise, which is exactly what they do. B&M has by far the best ones on the market right now for imports.
