Heavy Clutch / Gear Change
Ok....am a total "no-clue" type of guy when it comes to cars/mechanics so before I go and make a prat of myself at my local garage can anyone give me possible causes/solutions for the following:
Depressing the clutch pedal is becoming increasingly heavy (guess I've got used to it but anyone else who drives my car really complains about it) and at the same time changing gear is a real case of having to force the gear stick in to gear (not so bad when driving and changing up/down but can be really hard when stopped and going from neutral in to first). Any help much appreciated. Have also got the max heat/air con problem that seems to be common - at moment garage have come up with a temp fix that gives me full control of AC but no heat (not such a drama when living in Australia but would be usefull to have heat to de-mist windows). Other niggles: Rear Wiper won't move Interior lights won't come on when opening door Fuell consumption seems to have increased (with no reala change in driving conditions/style) Maybe I should just scrap the car?!?!? :-) |
