Re: 1st time SHE ever STALLED!
Quote:
Ok, problem restarted 2nd day after new pump was installed! Master E3305 fuel pump!! 2 days after the new pump, I tried to start the car, it started on the 2nd time, however the symptoms started again, this time, the car didnt stall at all!! Car rpms couldnt rise above 3!! Couldnt go over 65mph, then when it slowed down, could build my speed back up! so It did 25mph!!!! Got the fuel railed checked, by the same mechanic, a whopiing 20PSI!! He is now saying that this type of pump must be really bad, and cheap... Im with him on this one. Like I said the car ran beautiful with the new pump, the same day.. he also changed my fuel filter today also! So he suggested to me a performance pump? where can I find one? Im leaning towards a ACDELCO, if the original one lasted for 250K!!!! HAD anyone have these problems?? |

Re: 1st time SHE ever STALLED!
I use a Walboro 255 gph pump in my Z28, however you don't need anything like that. Listed below are some better type pumps for your application. By the way, have you checked the regulator?

Re: 1st time SHE ever STALLED!
Keeping you guys posted, problem seems to be fixed again! I replaced the fuel pump with my mechanics brand he recomends, and its working even better. Car works excellent now.
Thanks again to every person who helped me!
