Torque On Tranny Pan Bolts

On my o1 supercrew every since the tranny was rebuilt it drips fluid. I got a pan gasket and filter combo still leakin. Cant find just a good gasket had to get with filter wasnt as good as factory one. Before i go after another gasket was wanting to torque them first but dont know what to set torque wrench. Re: Torque On Tranny Pan Bolts

Hi, Get the gasket from the dealer, It's the only one that will solve your problem,,,,The torque specs are in the manual....See Ya, Clay..

Re: Torque On Tranny Pan Bolts

The FACTORY pan gaskets are re-useable unless they are TORN. Most idiot repair shops toss the factory gasket and install some leaking POS cork junk instead.

The factory gasket is neporene bonded metal, and they DO NOT LEAK unless they are torn or the pan is bent (the gasket will not leak that is). They are not very expensive, under $35 as I recall. I would purchase one, and have whomever rebuilt your trans replace it at their cost.
