Clutch squeeking
I go get ready for work, get in the car, push the clutch in to start the car and I notice a pretty loud squeeking type of sound. So I pushed it again and it did the same. Squeeks when I press and depress it. Anyone?
Thanks

Re: Clutch squeeking
O.K., so does it squeak when you're moving the pedal, or only when it's depressed?
If WHILE it's depressed, you've got a bad throwout bearing. If it's DURING pedal movement, you just need a little lube somewhere under the dash somewhere.

Re: Clutch squeeking
Yeah I'm thinking I need to lube something up. The pedal vibrates to the squeek/rub type sound as I press it. Def. not a clutch/tranny problem, did a few good burnouts to make sure
lol, Ill let you know if anything. Anyone else? Thanks

Re: Clutch squeeking
the clutch fork could be rubbing or hanging up, likes to get all nasty with clutch dust.
