Resetting keyless entry
Hi,
I have a 97 Subaru Legacy but the manual is in Japanese! Anyone know how to reset the keyless entry on it? Thanks! Craig Last edited by craigos3; 03-23-2006 at 03:44 PM. |

Re: Resetting keyless entry
Well in reply to my own question I thought I'd post the answer here for anyone else who might have this problem in the future.
Unlock all doors Lift handle until buzzer sounds. If you have button on key, press to make buzzer stop (if not insert key in ignition after step 1, turn to AAC - buzzer will stop when you let go of handle) Enter your code (4 digits) by lifting handle that many times then pausing before entering second digit. Buzzer will sound after 4th digit. Re-enter code. That's it. Entry via your door handle

Re: Resetting keyless entry
Programming or Overriding the Alarm when you have lost the remote
Open driver's door. Turn ignition key to 'On' Press and *hold programming button* in (see diagram, button under dashboard) After 15 seconds the the door locks will cycle 3 times. Do not release Programming button Press lock (left) button the remotes to be programmed. The door locks will cycle one time. Exit programming mode by releasing Programming button under dashboard and turning key to off.
