1993, door lock problems

Hello, I have a 1993 Grand Cherokee. The truck runs great, I have no problems except minor ones.

My power door locks will unlock, but they will not lock. I have to manually lock all four doors on my jeep and this is a bit annoying

What could be causing this?

Your chime module is probably disconnected.
Do you hear that annoying chime whenever ur doors are opened?

Look for this purple-ish box under the dash to the left of the steering column.

I do believe I found where it should be, but it's not there only holes.

I'll have to get the part at a junk yard or the dealer. Thanks

It's common for people to just yank it out because the beeping drives you nuts. Post back when you find one and I'll tell you how to just stop the beeping.

yup thats d box.. Some folks take it out so their security system wont arm when they hit the lock button..... the previous owner of ur vehicle was probably tryin to mask a problem with the security or some beepin issue.

Thanks guys, I can't really find where to buy it at. All my local stores don't have it.

What is a good website I can order from?

Bringselpup, in your sig, I have the same exact jeep. Same color. I love it.
