Arrow 528i M model

I have a 1980's bmw 528i with an M on the back of it. Does anyone know if it is authentic or how much a car like this could be worth? i am thinking about selling it but I am trying to figure out the value of it first. Any suggestions?

Re: 528i M model

No, unfortunately it is not a real M car. The badge probably made its way on there by a previous owner. Not knowing the year of your car, it could be an older 528i (e12 series) or a 528e (e28 series). I'm guessing a 528e which is a lower RPM, good gas mileage car. The value is based on condition and somebody wanting it. Dig around AutoTrader or Traderonline to get some ideas on pricing.
