Bad sound when turning the wheel
Recently when I turn the wheel after not driving it for awhile it makes a scraping noise. It does it when the wheel is between +/- 15 degrees from the center position. After driving for about 5 minutes it doesn't make that noise anymore. I noticed the sound the other week when it started to get cold here. Not sure if it is something to do with the cold or something new. I just bought the car this summer so can't say. It's a 96 LHS. Any ideas?

Re: Bad sound when turning the wheel
Rubber mounting brackets which hold power steering block on firewall.
Actualy they hold whole steering. 96 = old = tired = squuuuzing when cold weather. 2 pcs = less than 30 USD together for material. Also the car is much more stable on the road after replacing. |
