Re: 2.4 numbers

150 HP
and 0-60 8.0 sec for the GT dont think that the 4 door makes any difference.

Re: 2.4 numbers

4 door and two door weigh about the same since the coupe has HUGE doors. also, the 4 door is a Cavalier with a Sunfire nose on it.

I didn't realize they made a 4-door 2.4L Sunfire, hmmm, learn something new everyday.

It was ordered special.
when it was bought new,

Paid a little extra

Re: 2.4 numbers

now that's cool, at least you got a "fast" 4 door, even if it is still just a cavalier with a sunfire nose. but we still luv ya.

Re: 2.4 numbers

you may love me but the ricer civics around my area sure as hell don't like me

I smoked one yesterday from 2 cars back, I leveled with him at 70 then hit the gas, it dropped into passing gear, and i hit 75 before I was even past him.
(my engine noise drowned out his muffler under the bridge.)

Re: 2.4 numbers

nice, I'd like to give you a real race sometime, let me know when you want to do this, I work south of Elyria, so it not too much out of my way

car comes home Tuesday, and I should be fine for a few runs before the next oil change.

Re: 2.4 numbers

sure, well I'd like to try and avoid certain parts of N.R. {my car managed to get on the police watchlist, details at eleven}. but I'm pretty much game any where you want as long as i get a chance to see where it is, and limited traffic.
busy during the week, 'till 4:00Pm
anytime after 10:00Pm weekends.
I do know of a nearby civic group we could hook up with and school
Or there is another group of numbnuts who try to race every know and then.
I could get more info on where and when if you want.

Re: 2.4 numbers

cool, but are you SURE you want to do this? I mean, I can pretty much be sure I'll beat you and I wont leave 4th.

I just really wanted to meet up with some other Ohio car people, We have a "club" called DEA, and we meet in the Toledo area, but dont mind going out east. We may have a gathering soon, so, I'll keep you informed.

Re: 2.4 numbers

real cars, we got a 3400 (or maybe it was a 3800) swapped Cavy, a TSI Turbo FWD, Mazdaspeed, a supercharged HO Quad 4 Sunfire (me), a dodge ram on 20's, a S-10 slammed, and a GTP, we almost had a 3800SC fiero, but the guy wimped out, and well as a few other cars all in project stages.

Mine looks a bit rough in her old age, but she makes up for it in the other areas. We're always looking for people to hang with.

Re: 2.4 numbers

Sounds like a fun crew. You guys are always welcome In my area, I've been thinking of starting an "everybodys allowed" car club. but as I said, i'm surrounded by idiots and sissies. I'm thinking about holding a few shows to get to know ppl. I might be able to talk my boss into letting me hold one at my place of employment (avon oaks country club) we don't have tons of room but we once parked 75+ cars on the driving range (club was closed for the funeral) none of them were worth less than 40G's

let me know how interested you guys might be. good feedback increases the work i'll put into it
