Re: tranny gasket/oil pan gasket

What year do you have and is it s 4x4 or 2 wheel, auto or manual? On 98+ 2x4 you have to remove the engine to do the oil pan, but the tranny pan is easy I just did it the other day.

Re: tranny gasket/oil pan gasket

All depends.
Like what year engine and transmission?
Like transmission oi pan or engine oil pan?
What is going on with it? What is it doing or not doing?
Give us some details.

Re: tranny gasket/oil pan gasket

On my 1989 4.3l 4 wheel drive S10 Blazer, the tranny is a PITA. It can be done with a few tricks though. Never tried the engine oil pan - it would not be that simple I fear.

On my 1995 4x4 it took about 20 hours. Just for the oil pan.
The trans on mine looks pretty easy.
