Ford stock...time to buy?

Ford stocks have plummeted, and I like the $7-ish price right now. Considering it is a parent domestic company, I do not see bankruptcy in the next 15 years, regardless of terrifiying Jap competition. GM, with its $19B cash, is throwing its own money in the game to stay afloat. So, what do you guys think? Ford may go down to $6 perhaps, but with the factories being shut-down, I expect a jump back to $10 in a few months.

Any input guys?

Buy Ford? Not a chance. The big 2 (the third is a German company no matter what they say) haven't come close to turning the corner yet.

I don't know. If gm doesn't go bankrupt then this would be the time to buy but the way GM is going if they do go Bankrupt it will probably affect ford as well and drop the prices of stock down even further. I read fortune mags here and there.

ford is making huge changes...gm isnt

I think ford has a chance to raise its stock....I might just have to go invest some.

My sentiments exactly. GM stock is still about $19.00, while the F ticker has slumped all the way to $7...perhaps it will go down even further, but I do see it bounce back in the future as ford decides to put forth some drastic measures to do a turn around. No?

Re: Ford stock...time to buy?

I don't think I'd buy it. With all the recalls Ford has been having, I'm not sure it would be good to buy now. I still think it will drop lower. Then buy it.
