Having problem to install cold air intake...
I am wondering that can anyone help me out here... I tried to install a cold air intake into my 2001 eclipse GT... I did install it into my car; however, the engine service light went on after i drove for about 10 minutes... After that i took the new air intake out and install the old air intake back into my car... then couple days later... the light went off... so... is there any way that i can still install the new air intake into my car and what was the problem??? thanks...

Re: Having problem to install cold air intake...
make sure you didnt forget to connect any sensors like the Intake air sensor. that will cause a CEL. just double check all the wires.

Re: Having problem to install cold air intake...
put the CAI back on, disconnect the battery for about 15 mins. then reconnect the battery, start the car, and let it idle for about 10 min.
