1991 Deville 4.9 hesitating

Need some help. Still trying to figure this thing out. I was driving to work this morning gauge showed I had 3 gallons in tank. When i would go around a turn or sharp curve it seemed like i was running outta gas. After a few minutes once I straightened out it ran fine again. I stopped on the way home and put about 7 gallons in it. When i was going around turns again it seemed fine this time. But once I was going straight and really pushed on the pedal it seemed to hesitate sometimes or just not pick up right away. This thing is bugging the hell outta me. I replaced the filter. Thanks for any help.

I have a 91 with a 4.9, try the throttle position sensor.

I've read that there are baffles in the fuel tank to keep the fuel from all sloshing to one side under load causing the condition you describe. These baffles supposedly can come loose. The proposed solution was to replace the fuel tank, drive easier, or keep the level up. Just what I read, but on the face of it, it would seem to make sense.
FWIW
YMMV

I have the same problem it is mainly do to the weight shifting and causing the sensor to not detect the gas. It usually starts around the time I have 4 gallons on my fuel data.
