Need Help Badd Can"t Get Out

I still need help, tonight we both had to climb out the window. now neither door will open from the inside or outside!!! the passenger door worked good untill tonight when we went to get out and both the inside and outside handles anct like ther is no pressure?????? any ideas I like the dukes of hazard but my wife is not daisy lol!!!! thanks timmt

There's metal rods that connect the handles to the latches. Sometimes they get stretched outta shape or the retainer pops off and they drop outta the mechanism. Sometimes the lug on the handle where the rod attaches breaks off.....

You'll just have to pull an interior panel off and see what you can do...I don't envy you, that sucks to do with the door closed.

Thanks for the help I can tell that the rods are still on and do move the latch mechanism but they still will not open, the handles feel like there is no tension on them. timmy

Just a note I finaly got it to work, the drivers latch had a broken spring and the passenger was just really really dirty and stuck up. thanks for the help
