Re: Hello, A few of questions

Yea fenderwell ones seem like the best bet. More chance to get cold air. I was looking into one at pfyc but i dont think it has a method of mounting PCM. although im sure I could find a place. I was also looking into the one by SLP that alows you to mount it to a hood with scoops. That would mean replacing the hood and getting it painted. Il probaly wait if i do decide on that and get a fenderwell.

Re: Hello, A few of questions

If you are using any amp with power you will want to run a cable from the battery back to the trunk. Minimum cable size is 8gauge bigger if the amp is huge and/or if you run multiple amps

Re: Hello, A few of questions

Are you planning on using the factory radio? If you are then you will have to run your speaker outputs from the radio to the trunk. You will then either need an amp that has what they call high level inputs, or an adapter to convert to rca cables. If you are using an aftermarket head unit then run the rca cables from the connections on the radio to the trunk.

Re: Hello, A few of questions

You can always splice into the rear speaker wires in the trunk instead of running all new wire form the factory radio back to the amp's high level input or RCA converter. If you have an aftermarket radio, run RCA cables, as you'll get much cleaner sound. The factory radio has no provisions for RCA cable hook-up.
