Trim on windshield coming off

Hello All,

The plastic trim on the top portion of the windshield is coming off. It started to peel off at one end. Can I use a sealant to put the trim back in ?

thanks

Re: Trim on windshield coming off

I've used 3M black trim adhesive (in a tube)for similar repairs. Unless you are real fussy about a correct appearance, it will look OK. That goop bonds real nice, but sometimes shows around the edges of what you've fixed. Make sure the contact surfaces are clean and dry, and let it cure completely before it gets rained on, or before your windshield wash is used.
