Unhappy 1987 Bronco II Need firing order Thanks for response!...New Question same old problem

Please Help! Was told the firing order was 142536. Hope this was right? Trying but won't start. Getting fire, but won't start.

1987 2.9 Bronco II fuel injection.
Question; Which side would #1 be? (when facing the radiator)
Is there a diagram of the distributor somewhere online to go by?

Asking these question for husband I hope I have them worded half right?

Really appreciate any help for this!
Thanks in advance!

Thank-You and one more

Thanks acidburn5377 for your answering my post!
I have another question...if you don't mind, please.
Would that firing order be run straight? or does it cross over the motor?

He's been trying that run in straight order, turns over (and over and...), gets fire but just refuses to start

He is just about to
Any other suggestions???

Thanks again,
mntlady in MS.

firing order runs straight back right bank then straight back left bank. another thing most ford distributors turn counter clockwise
