2003 Honda Civic Halo headlight help

I recently bought a pair of angeleye halo projection headlights off the internet. When me and my friend went to install we had a problem w/ the parking light. The hole for it was bigger than the actual piece holding the light bulb. Now the headlights came with some random extra piece but only fit in the slot for the blinkers. The hole for the blinkers were a bit bigger than the piece but still fit in w/ no problems. My question is what can i do because i just washed my car and one light fogged up ... not to mention we used some tape to cover the excess space in the parking light. Now its rained several times since we put the lights on but no fogging has occured. please help me lol
