Fuel filter location in 86 Full-size Bronco
I have an 86 full-size Bronco with a 351 and a 4bbl carb. I recently replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor etc. I also purchased a fuel filter, but i'll be darned if I can find where it goes. Someone told me it goes right on the carb somewhere but I am not seeing it. It is quite small. I looked at an exploded view of a 4bbl carb from a Bronco (on Autozone website) and it does show a filter, but it doesn't look anything like the filter I bought. Can anybody help??? I sure would appreciate it.

Re: Fuel filter location in 86 Full-size Bronco
A carb'd truck probably has three. (An EFI has two.) There is the in-tank filter that goes with the pump, the high-pressure filter that is on the frame rail right under the driver's seat (on the underside of the truck) and maybe an inline-filter that is on the fuel line going right into the carb. (My 2.8L carb'd BII had one there.) What you're looking for is most likely right under your seat. Get under the truck, and look where the rail goes up into the engine bay.
