difference between turbos

just wonderin whats the difference if any between the 14b and the t25. which would be better for my gs that im gonna turbo?

14b is slightly bigger than the t25... the 14b came stock on 90-94 turbo dsms and the t25 came stock on 95-99 turbo dsms.

I would put the 14b in as the first turbo for a NT car. It makes decent power, quick spool, and they are all over the place. IMO, you might as well hook up a hair dryer if you are going to put in a t25.

Yeah, IIRC his sig says basically 14 flat. Talon69 (I think) ran a 13.7 on it too. I know its not that bad of a turbo, just pretty small. Also, if he started on a 14b he would be able to upgrade to a 16g or 20g that much easier.

it was 14 sec flat without dsmlink FMIC & 3in turbo back... I'll see what this little t-25 can do next month when the track opens. =)
