suspension ?

ok i just bought 17's for my 4 dr civic but every time i carry more than 3 ppl the tires hit the top of the thing dont know what its called but it hits the top of the wheel thing or sometimes if a carry enough groceries or something heavy in other words. is there something i could do to fix this problem wit out getting smaller rims???????

no its not lowered the size of the tires r 205 40z r17 80w this is a big problem i guess for me need help?!
