Stuff!!

First of many things in the next 2 weeks or so.

its a lil dusty but after a quci vacume it looks great. Alot better than bare MFG like my current box.

Interchangeable Port System (i like to call it IPS) daily 28Hz competition will probably be 38Hz.

7.5cuft when its tuned to 28 8 when tuned to 38Hz. No port obstructions or funk bends like my current box which means louder. Plus when i open my 4th door you can look straight at the motor stucture of w/e is inthere.

Between this and 80sqft of damplifier im hoping to gain 3-6dB on the AC putting my AC score within 3dB of 150 with daily tuning and im hoping to meet and possibly exceed 150 with SPL tuning.

Damplifier and Overkill will be here Friday along with 2 more little goodies you guys will get to see.

Sometime next week my IS2080 should be here.

a HU and my system is complete minus little gradual improvements.

Re: Stuff!!

and yes the inside is painted...with rubberized sound dampener. Seals MDF and dampens panel resonance.

Damn thats a big box. Looked kind of small till you put a person in it. Thinking of turning my blazer into the sound truck from hell since i have another daily driver now.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: Stuff!!

You do know that deadening COMPLETELY changes the RF of your vehicle... therefore making you peak TOTALLY different. I'd recommend a much higher tuning after deadening. Mine went up to 64hz ... (actual peak, not tuning)

Oh, where's pics of the port?
